Was not expecting this in CO springs. Usually Mexican food here is well… not actual Mexican food. Let’s get into it! Upon walking in we were greeted and seated right away. The first things I noticed was, ample parking, place was very clean, had a nice bar walking in, dining room was big, well taken care of and clean. Now getting into the menu. I got a 3 combination plate. 1 chicken enchilada 1 cheese enchilada 1 chili relleno The chicken was tender and juicy. Seasoned well and not overcooked at all. Tortilla was soft and not hard or overcooked either. Cheese was melted perfectly. Chili relleno was excellent. Not overly soaked in egg badder. Just the right amount. Rice is cooked perfectly. Beans are good. But lack salt ( which is a good thing you can always add more salt you can’t remove it ) Other things to mention. They have Menudo, Pozole, caldo and other things like aguchilies. This place is legit and serve up real Mexican food. You will not be disappointed. Will I return? Absolutely. I highly recommend this place is you enjoy good authentic Mexican food. Oh and don’t forget to try their house tequila. Liked it so much I ended up buying a whole bottle to go. It’s more of an anejo infused with orange. It’s very tasty. Don’t need to be mixed with anything. Food: far above average. Service: excellent no issues very attentive. Atmosphere: chill and casual. Decor: modern and new. Bathrooms: N/A didn’t use Enjoy!

Hands down the best in town! The food is always amazing, hot and fresh! The queso dipped burrito is my FAVORITE! The service is even better!! Everyone is always so friendly and efficient! This is now our go to place for authentic Mexican food! Thank you to Miguel and his entire staff for always being so welcoming and making sure we always have the best service and food! Five stars all around!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

WOW!!!! no words can describe how SUPER friendly the staff was here. Extremely attentive, delicious food, made a few suggestions and even gave us complimentary salsa to appease our spicy appetites. I had a cucumber margarita. This margarita was massive. I took a picture with my hand beside it to show just how big this cup was. I literally had to pick it up with both hands. My husband had ordered the Real Molcajete and I ordered the Seafood Molcajete. These were so filling. I will say, the only thing that was challenging was figuring out what to order. It was a vast menu with so many delicious dishes. Everything on the menu were large portions and definitely worth the price.I will definitely be returning.

New-ish place (6 months old as of this review), with lots of pretty standard Mexican fare. Tonight, we (the table) had a mix - fajitas, arroz con pollo, enchiladas, burritos, and fried ice cream. No complaints from anyone, just really good food all around. The only observation was that combo fajitas - could have been a little more chicken and steak. Lots of veggies, which was great, just not a lot of meat. Wait staff was terrific! Very much on the ball with drinks, food was hot when delivered, chips and dips were never empty. They definitely have a sense of how to serve people, which is fantastic. Atmosphere and ambiance were also great. Music wasn't too loud, lighting was right for the evening, temp was good, decor is actually very nice. Overall, a fantastic experience. No complaints. Will most definitely go again. Looking forward to summer when we can sit outside on the patio!

Mexico Real Family Restaurant delivered one of the most satisfying Mexican dining experiences we’ve had. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, but what truly made the visit special was our waiter. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. He took the time to understand our taste preferences and guided us through the menu, making excellent recommendations that turned out to be spot-on. We ordered Pollo Chipotle, Fajita Real, and Carne Asada, and every dish was outstanding. The Pollo Chipotle was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced with smoky chipotle flavor without being overpowering. The Fajita Real came out sizzling, loaded with tender, well-seasoned meat and fresh vegetables, making every bite full of flavor. The Carne Asada was cooked just right—juicy, tender, and packed with authentic grilled flavor that really stood out. Not a single dish disappointed. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You could tell real care went into the food, and everyone at the table enjoyed every bite. To top it off, the drinks were just as impressive. We had margaritas and a mule, and both were refreshing, well-balanced, and the perfect complement to the food. They added an extra layer of enjoyment to an already great meal. Overall, Mexico Real Family Restaurant is a place that combines excellent food, great drinks, and outstanding service. The friendly and attentive staff, especially our waiter, made us feel welcome and well taken care of. If you’re looking for delicious Mexican food with a genuine, family-style atmosphere, this place is absolutely worth visiting.
