This is one of the better Mexican places I have had in the area. Everything is seasoned well and has a bit of complexity that makes each part stand out. The rice had a nice lime zest and the beans were hearty. The borito had well cooked veggies that is exactly what i look for in a good bonitos. The atmosphere is nothing too special but not bad either. It took a little bit to get the food but when the food is good I never mind. I will definitly be back.

It was a great day to be indoors when the neon glow of the Miller Lite sign offered sanctuary. I stepped inside, pleased to see plenty of room at the bar which is a must for pleasurable day drinking. The bar itself is stocked with enough Hornitos and 1800 to sedate a small elephant, which is promising. I opted for a margarita flight because making singular commitments before noon is difficult. Four glasses arrived on a paddle, ranging in color from "sensible lime" to "radioactive Smurf." The blue one tasted like bad decisions and summer vacation—absolutely delicious. Thwy pair quite well with $3 Tuesday tacos. They arrived buried under a geological layer of shredded cheese and pico de gallo. Their structural integrity was questionable, but they were the perfect sponge for the tequila. The ambiance is "sports shouting at you from fifteen different angles on ESPN," but if you need a break from NFL analysis, there’s a surprisingly robust arcade in the back. Nothing says "responsible adulting" like sipping premium agave nectar between rounds of Big Buck Hunter while a plastic Batman judges you from the corner. It’s the perfect spot to hide until the sun goes down and drinking becomes socially acceptable again.

We haven’t been to Jose’s in quite a while, mostly because they closed the east side location and we just don’t get downtown as often as we used to. It was nice to find out that the food and service are still really good and the atmosphere (although changed a bit) is still rustic and welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that the brunch that only used to be on Sunday’s is now both Saturday and Sunday. Skylor was our server and she did an excellent job taking care of us. My wife and I both decided to take advantage of the brunch menu. She ordered the Breakfast Enchiladas and I had the Breakfast Tamales with a Softshell Pork Taco on the side. All of the food was really good and very filling. So, if you’re downtown sometime and feel like some Tex-Mex, maybe give Jose Muldoon’s a try.

Had lunch at Jose Muldoon’s and was impressed! I ordered the carne asada plate, and it was honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. The chile relleno with a side of their green chili was also delicious—perfect balance of flavor and spice. Our server Caroline was fantastic—super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Great food and great service all around!

We love it here! BEST Fried Ice Cream ever! The foods good too! Today was Taco Tuesday and the tacos were great! I did order an entree that I did not like. Server took it back and let me order something else. The replacement was very good!
