This review is for the Sacramento airport location. We always stop here to eat on our way out of town. We absolutely love the breakfast burrito. The best part is you can order it at anytime of day, not just for breakfast. If in the SMF airport I highly recommend Centro Cocina Mexicana.

Great Margaritas 🍹 😋 Definitely will be returning soon. Second time visiting. I had to add to my review because it keeps getting better. I had an fantastic dining experience at Centro! The hospitality was iff the charts. The shrimp tacos were absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spice. The elite asado delicious with smoky flavors that truly satisfied my cravings. And once again, the Jamaican margarita was a delightful twist on a classic—refreshing, balanced, and just the right kick of sweetness and tequila. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for Cocina Mexicana. Third time...and they dont disappoint. Loved the combo plate 🍽

visited Centro Cocina Mexicana here in Sacramento, and the food was delicious from start to finish. My tacos al pastor were juicy and savory, with just the right hint of pineapple sweetness. The refried beans on the side were rich and flavorful, topped with creamy cotija cheese that made every bite even better. The enchiladas were a standout -- the sauce had amazing depth without being overly bitter like some places make it. The rice and beans had that comforting, home-cooked taste that instantly reminded me of my family gatherings. Every bite felt like a warm reminder of my mom's cooking, and it made the whole meal joyful. The ambience is warm, casual, and inviting - the kind of place where you can enjoy a relaxed lunch or a special dinner with friends and family. Shoutout to our amazing waiter who kept our sodas refilled and constantly checked in on us, making our experience so welcoming. And a big thank you to the hardworking chefs in the back -- especially Chef Mathew for the incredible cuisine. Centro Cocina Mexicana definitely delivered both in flavor and in heart. I'll be coming back for sure.

Wow! We loved our dinner. I had the salmon and my husband had the pork. It was awesome. My pistachio mole was delicious. The pork was melt in your mouth. The pork was the smoke fished one. Amazing. Our server was great. He answered our questions and helped us decide.

I had a wonderful experience at this Mexican restaurant in Midtown Sacramento. The staff welcomed me as if I were a regular, and the food tasted incredibly fresh. The salsa had just the right amount of heat, and the grilled chicken tacos were full of flavor without feeling heavy. The atmosphere felt warm and genuine, making it a place I look forward to visiting again.
