The atmosphere was pleasant. We ordered the Parrillada - contained steak, chicken, fish, octopus, nopal grilled onions and Bell peppers. The platter potion enough for 3 or 4 people. For drinks we ordered whiskey on the rocks. Everything was delicious. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. Price was great for the amount of food we received. Overall a great restaurant. Definitely worth coming and returning again. Highly recommend this location. Our 2nd visit was just as great. We had our favorite the Parrillada Jameson on the rocks and Jamaica. Casa 16 Restaurant is definitely now our favorite. Yum!!! 😋

Wonderful authentic Mexican. Fresh and tasty. Cafe with house made olla syrup is wonderful. Mole is delicious. Tacos have a little extra something good. Don’t miss flan. Service is A+++

I'm very excited to have this new restaurant in our neighborhood! Their first restaurant, Casa Corazon, catered my friend's wedding. It's great that their opening one so close to my home. The happy hour deal of $6 margaritas is unbeatable- and they're good too! The guacamole, elote, and queso were great too. They were able to make the queso with no meat as well to accommodate my dietary restrictions. Service was friendly and quick. I'll definitely be back, and I hope the quality and happy hour deals continue!

The atmosphere was inviting and it seemed like the food would be great, however the atmosphere was the best this place had to offer. The food took a very long time to arrive, which should have been a clue, since most Mexican restaurants I’ve been to are super quick with getting the food out. The food came out in spurts, a couple of dishes, and five minutes later another one, etc. The wait staff were friendly enough, but our waiter was doing everything, from checking people out, making drink, and clearing dishes. When the food arrived, one dish was wrong, and another was completely forgotten or completely misunderstood. Two people in our party just had to order something different after our 45 minute wait and having found out that the dish for two people they had ordered was not going to be coming out. Even then, just simple tacos took 15 minutes more, and were only good for a to go box. When the waiter did bring the tacos and the other late order he at least took those off the bill. The food looked good in presentation, but it wasn’t the best quality, and was not very flavorful or hot, so it was not as easy to eat. I really can’t blame the staff for the poor performance, it seemed they were doing the best they could. They gave us all a 10 percent off coupon for a future order, so we took the coupons knowing that we wouldn’t be back.

We ordered the camarones a la diabla ($22 comes with a lot of shrimp!!) and mole. They were both delicious. The vegetables are unseasoned but the mole has so much flavor that it’s refreshing. The waiter was nice. Answered all of our questions. I just didn’t like that we didn’t get served chips and salsa for the prices they have /: but other than that. No complaints.
